The Kingdom of Peace and Justice Center Congratulates President-elect of Colombia, Abelardo de la Espriella
The Kingdom of Peace and Justice Center, through its president, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos, expressed his most sincere congratulations to Dr. Abelardo de la Espriella for the occasion of his election as president of the Republic of Colombia.
This significant democratic support from the Colombian people is a sign of confidence in his leadership, in his vision for the nation’s future, and in his ability to lead Colombia toward a period of stability, development, and institutional strengthening.
The congratulatory message carries a special significance in light of the meeting previously held between Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos and the then presidential candidate Abelardo de la Espriella, held on March 15, 2026.
On that occasion, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos addressed an international audience and stated:
“Good morning to all the viewers and to everyone connected through the Amazonas satellite and the Eutelsat 8 satellite in the different nations. Today, Sunday, March 15 of this year, 2026, I have the honor and the privilege of being here, in the office of Dr. Abelardo de la Espriella: the president of Colombia; because we have to say it with ownership.”
During that meeting, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos also expressed his spiritual and moral support for the leadership of Abelardo de la Espriella, stating:
“We are His ambassadors on Earth.”
Abelardo de la Espriella, for his part, clearly expressed his determination to confront crime and restore peace in Colombia:
“And I want to say something: I will fight crime, and I will bring peace to this country, but not by giving into criminals and bringing the State to its knees, no; but by establishing peace through armed force and the laws of the Republic.”
In response to those words, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos answered:
“That is what the Messianic Kingdom will do: it will be a Kingdom with a rod of iron. Count on me, count on all the believers here.”
He then added:
“And know that there’s a people that is praying for you, as am I, in order to reach that goal and to make Colombia what it has always been.”
Abelardo de la Espriella thanked his for the support and stated:
“It is an honor to count with your support. And God, who knows my heart, knows that I am determined to do this; and that there’s no possibility of me not doing it, if I have God’s support.”
Following the election results, the Kingdom of Peace and Justice Center extended its congratulations to the president-elect’s family, to his team, and all the Colombian citizens that participated in that significant democratic process, reaffirming the values of civic participation and the respect for popular vote.
The Kingdom of Peace and Justice Center offered its best wishes for the president-elect’s administration to be accompanied by wisdom, strength, discernment, and success in the decision making process that will impact the present and future of the Colombian nation.
Likewise, the institution expressed its confidence that Colombia will continue advancing along the path of peace, prosperity, security, freedom, and the integral development of its people, while at the same time, strengthening its democratic institutions and its role as one of the most important nations in Latin America.
Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos expressed to president-elect Abelardo de la Espriella, his personal wishes for success in carrying out such a high responsibility, and expressed his hope for this new stage to contribute to the well-being of all Colombians.
