Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos calls on Peruvians to participate in the elections and highlights the importance of stability for the country’s future

June 4, 2026

Just days ahead of the presidential election that will shape the political course of the Republic of Peru, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos shared a message addressed to the Peruvian people, reflecting on the importance of institutional stability, the responsibility of government officials and the role the nation plays in the prophetic realm which, according to his convictions, is currently unfolding.

During his remarks, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos noted that Peru is facing a historical opportunity to strengthen its institutions and to advance towards a period of greater political and social stability.

«It is time for Peru, as a country, to become stable; and it must start with the Government: a stable Government and with a working agenda in favor of the people».

In reference to the presidential election set for Sunday, June 7, 2026, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos stated that he is closely following the democratic process taking place in the country and the proposals presented by the candidates seeking to lead the nation in the coming years.

«We see two candidates, and this coming Sunday, June 7 of this year 2026, the next president of Peru will be elected».

He likewise expressed his opinion regarding one of the candidates in the race.

«Candidate Keiko, who is right-wing, with a government platform that can meet the needs of the people».

And he added:

«We can see she has that desire to bring stability to the people of Peru».

Speaking from a perspective based on faith and the Scriptures, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos gave a reminder that the fate of the nations rests on divine sovereignty.

«Aware that it is the Eternal One who sets up and removes kings, as the prophet Daniel tells us in chapter 2, verse 21: “He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings, and sets up kings; He gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding”».

In that context, he called for civic engagement and urged Peruvians to exercise their right to vote.

«Therefore, to all the people of Peru: Go out and vote this coming Sunday, June 7!».

In his remarks, Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos also referred to the position of several countries regarding the State of Israel, a central subject in his international conferences and activities.

«And we see that she is in favor of Israel».

He then explained why he believes the relationship of the nations with Israel holds strategic and spiritual importance for the future.

«Every country that is in favor of Israel, is a country that is securing its future in that glorious Kingdom of the Messiah, which will be established in Jerusalem, Israel».

Finally, he reiterated his conviction about the role Jerusalem will play in the future world government foretold by the biblical prophecy.

«And from there the entire planet Earth will be ruled in that government of peace, love, and happiness, an eternal Kingdom».

The statement given by Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos comes at a time of great political anticipation in Peru, where millions of citizens are preparing to take part in an election that will have a decisive influence on the country’s institutional, economic, and social future.

The Kingdom of Peace and Justice Center highlighted that democratic participation, government stability, and institutional strengthening are essential elements for the development of nations, while reiterating the importance of citizens exercising their civic rights responsibly and contributing to the creation of a future of peace, prosperity, and justice for their peoples.
