The Role of Israel and the Destiny of Nations in the Current Landscape
Cayey, Puerto Rico – April 15, 2026
Dr. José Benjamín Pérez Matos spoke, on the premises of The Great Tent Cathedral in Puerto Rico, about how national decisions regarding Israel will determine access to the Messianic Kingdom.
Leadership Under Divine Inspiration
In his remarks, he highlighted that Israel’s current course of action is not a political coincidence, but part of a Divine Program: «Now look at what Israel is doing. Israel, its leaders, don’t realize what they are doing; but God inspires the leaders to carry out the corresponding works for the establishment of the Kingdom of Israel». In this regard, he stated that Israel is «clearing the area for that establishment of the Kingdom in Israel».
International Opposition and Ignorance of the Scriptures
He pointed to a growing isolation of Israel in the international arena, attributing it to a lack of spiritual understanding among world leaders: «More and more countries are positioning themselves against Israel. And if you notice, the governments that are positioning themselves against Israel, the majority of them don’t know the Scriptures, don’t know the Divine Program, don’t know who Israel is; because if they did, they wouldn’t position themselves against the firstborn people of God».
The Messianic Kingdom as a Filter for the Nations
The current geopolitical situation is defined as a selective process. In that regard, he warned that the destiny of each country depends on its current stance: «On this Earth, at this time, it is being identified which nation will enter that glorious Messianic Kingdom, and which nation won’t enter. Therefore, every nation must place itself in the position that will ultimately lead to its outcome: it either enters the Messianic Kingdom or it doesn’t».
A Warning for Global Leaders
He concluded with a call for accountability, noting that today’s decisions will have eternal consequences for peoples and their leaders: «The decision is now. And the warning is given, and is being given, that whoever positions himself against Israel won’t enter the Messianic Kingdom. Surely the people of that nation, after the Millennium, when they resurrect, will hold the leaders accountable because they didn’t have the opportunity to go through that glorious Messianic Kingdom».
